"It was one of the greatest gifts for me to meet you and buy your Planetary Meditations cd set. I have always enjoyed working with sounds and vibrations, so it was so much fun to listen and explore your book. Little did I realize, how important this program was going to end up being for me.

A year after I came to the fair and bought this set, a week before my daughters wedding,

 I was diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer. It came out of nowhere and after I returned from the wedding, I had a mastectomy. I was, what is called, a triple negative, there was nothing they were able to do aside from chemo. My first 5 years were critical.

I also had my home up for sale, looking to find one in Colorado.

Much to the dismay of my doctors, I chose not to do chemo. They tried to understand, but I felt, once I listened, that I was guided to take this path. I sold my house in 3 weeks, left my work, found and moved into a lovely home adjacent to the Pike forest. I do not believe a whirlwind begins to even describe those 3 months.

I spent my first 3 years, getting settled, getting healthy and getting to know me and having amazing conversations with God. I was brought down to near nothingness. I was brought to stillness. The only thing that seemed to "resonate" was playing "The Planetary Meditations". I listened randomly to different meditations. I did this for 2 years. Nothing else seemed to feel called upon other than playing with my crystals, which of course, vibrated to the tuning forks in the cd's.

I am 3 years clean. I have learned to be here, for today, live today. I thank Michelle for the gift of the Meditations. They were a Blessing for me. Blessings to you all,

I analyzed Chiron for this review, what I got out of it was a "whole Earth rhythm", it seemed to me to have a touch of everything in it. Native American, African, Hawaiian, Japanese Taiko, and even a touch American jazz influence as in the beat of Gean Krupa"s Drum Boogie, a beat also employed in part by Bo Diddley, The Doors and George Thorogood in Who do you love "note" not the exact beat of, but a flavor of, and/or similar rhythm, that's what struck me. The drumming done so well that it seems effortless and simple in nature. The real accolades go to Joe Romersa and his applied simplicity which is a pure genius approach on the Chiron track. The drum's with their real skin heads sound massive, which made me think of the big Taiko drums of Japan. Although Chiron is "other Earthly" these drums really brought it home to me.

 

John Draper aka the Collisionist
